So many songs to sing...

I am now living overseas for the first time. I'm teaching English as a second language in South Korea. This is an adventure that I would highly recommend to anyone who is qualified and lost in real life. And even if you are not qualified to teach, there are other options to allow for paid-travel. It's amazing how one can find peace within, without the chaos and internal noise associated with the familiar. It's definitely working for me. I hope you find something that works for you, too. Much love.

Ask me anything

My Old Friend, Moon; By way of the wind that moves the air. In the rain that brings water. By the sun and it’s burning fire. From the Earth, and to all it gives life. I ask that you bring me peace, love and simple contentment. By way of the wind that moves the air. In the rain that brings to us the water of life. By the burning fire of the Sun. From the Earth, and to all it gives life. I ask you My Friend, please give me these comforts, as I feel I have faced enough challenge, and I am now tired. Please bring to me peace, love and contentment. Thank you, My Friend. Good night.

The moon has always effected me, beyond just mood. So far as to say that my personal ‘cycle’ used to fall in line, until chemo knocked my system so far out of whack. And over 4 years later, my body is still fucked up, but my cycle seems to have jumped, as though trying to realign itself with the moon this month. I’ve been under a lot of stress for a couple months now, but only the past week have I felt the pressure building to an intolerable weight; feeling explosive at the drop of a word. It has been a long time since I have felt this extreme. But tonight I realized, the moon… Tonight is a Perigee Moon aka: super-moon… Tomorrow there is a Lunar Eclipse. Coincidence… Perhaps. But I believe in the moon, in ways most people can’t comprehend. It is sort of my religion… My God. And tonight, when I walked outside to see the Perigee, it was hidden, behind a cloud covered sky… But within seconds, the clouds moved to a perfectly structured break… I was gifted 5 minutes of clear vision of this amazing site… 5 minutes to talk to my old friend. And I feel that in the next two days, after the passing of the Eclipse, I am going feel stabilized and will have the strength to deal with the stresses that have been overwhelming me. I believe…
